INEFLUX SP
Rutile agglomerate flux for high productivity welding of carbon steel and micro-alloy steel. Boniszewsky basicity: 0.6, Medium pick-up of Mn for welding carbon steel and HSLA steel. Boniszewsky basicity: 1.7, Average pick-up of Si and Mn.
Classifications- EN ISO 14174: S A AR 1 76 AC H5
This flux is designed for submerged arc welding of carbon steels with a yield strength up to 420 MPa, in combination with INESUB S2 and INESUB S2Si wires. INEFLUX SP boosts productivity by enabling high-speed welding (up to 2m/min) while maintaining excellent bead aesthetics and easy slag removal, even with small groove angles. It exhibits neutral metallurgical behavior for Si and a modest Mn pickup. It's preferably used in single-pass (fillet) and two-pass welding. Typical applications include fabrication work on thin sections (t < 25 mm) such as pressure vessels and thin-walled pipes.
